About The Artist

I am a Filipino-Colombian contemporary artist Focusing on the red ink and ballpoint pen medium based in Cincinnati, OH. I have a BA in art and have continued my own independent training since. Bones, eyes and chains are recurring subjects in my work to show frustration in finding identity.

I makes red monochrome art that blends traditional realism with modern pop art accents creating a pop-surrealistic art style with the intent to express the experience of grief. The subjects of my work are primarily inspired by dark, horror and gothic themes which are derived from the media I consumed growing up. I work exclusively in a red color palette because I am drawn to it representing love, passion, anger, frustration and strength.
